While studying Cultural Anthropology at the University of Basel, Jamie dedicated her research to expats living in Basel. Her second subject being Scandinavian Languages and Literature, Jamie acquired a profound knowledge in Scandinavian culture and history.
After completing her studies, Jamie worked in the concert and event industry, where she developed a talent for unconventional solutions and a deep understanding for the needs of international guests.
